![]() This early release version isn't the final product but overall it's just too frustrating to control the slice of bread and play to make it fun. I am Bread - Now on Xbox One January 19th 2017 Oliver Hindle It’s the moment you’ve all been wheating for We’re rye-ly pleased to let you know that at last, video game’s unlikeliest hero has climbed onto Xbox One I am Bread has sliced its way Facebook Tweets by IAmBreadGame You’ve seen a slice of the game. Definitely not the best thing since sliced bread The same goes for the realistic physics and bouncy, chirpy soundtrack, which sounds like a a mix between a Daytime TV show and a slice of bread going for a Sunday stroll. very similar in style to Surgeon Simulator. The graphics are well done and typical for a Bossa Studios production i.e. Similar in look and feel to Surgeon Simulator The result of trying to use the keyboard controls and mouse is that the bread spends half its time thrashing around on the table like a fish out of water. The controls are ridiculously frustrating though and it would have made more sense to have given the bread legs to walk around. I ended up "committing bread suicide" by falling onto the floor until the edibility rating reached zero. ![]() The only thing to avoid is falling on the floor in which case the " Edibility Rating" goes down until you lose the game. Bossa Studios, the creators of Surgeon Simulator, have released another game. I managed to eventually drag the bread onto a skateboard although couldn't control the skateboard. There's no more time to just sit and loaf around. It's painfully difficult to move the bread, which is one of the games major let downs. Your only task is to move a slice of bread across a kitchen table, using the keyboard keys 1,2,3 and 4 to select a corner of the bread and drag the mouse over the slice to flip it. I hope you find what really turns you on.The aim of the game isn't clear. We're finally BACK to another hilarious episode of Mostly Positive This time, Roxxy Haze and WhosChaos dive into the deliciously crazy world of 'I Am Bread'. It could be baking bread, building stereo systems, raising a child, reading books. I believe each of us has something deep within us that finds satisfaction and fulfillment from pushing the boundaries of perfection. And the number of people able to take a handful of wires, transistors, tubes and bits of "stuff" to make a piece of audio equipment that can reach in and touch your soul are equally few. The number of people that can take three ingredients: water, flour, salt and turn it into a work of art that touches one's inner being are not many. ![]() In the same way, if you're obsessed with the art of sound reproduction you have a number of benchmarks to hope for: imaging, tonality, dynamic linearity, full frequency response, toe tapping qualities, how close it comes to the real thing. Today is going to be amazing I turn into a piece of bread and go an an adventure trying to get around the kitchen and toast in the toaster. If you're a real bread snob like me, you're impressed by a number of benchmarks: the holes in the crumb, the crust, the color, the burst of the seam, the flavor, the aroma and so forth. It's as much a joy and a challenge as perfecting the art of designing a stereo system. I still haven't succeeded but I inch closer each week. I've been working on perfecting this one loaf of bread for nearly a decade. Look out for the floor and any other unsavoury obstacles that could harm your tastiness as you seek out the means to achieve breads ultimate goal. Yesterday was my day to bake bread for the week. ![]() Our friend Robert has invited us to view it on his home theater in high def. ![]() Today is Super Bowl Sunday and while I am not a big football fan, it's the one game I am sure to watch. ![]()
